Since being signed off work it is very easy to get fixated on work and all the questions and decisions going round in my head to do with that. What I need to also remember that while I am not at work it opens up opportunities that I wouldn’t have got if I had been at work. One of those is getting the chance to see areas of Scotland that I haven’t been to before.
On Sunday myself, Kat, Morag ( Kat’s Mum) and Maia went for a hill walk on Beinn Chabhair but as you might have guessed from the blog title we didn’t manage to get to the top. Due to various factors we got to about an hour away from the summit and had to turn round.
Be born, go to nursery, go to primary school, go to secondary school, go to uni, go to job, go to next job and next job and next job and then ……………………………………………………………..
Started doing some more of the online photography course over the past couple of days and got to my first assignment which was to submit a photo taken in manual mode.
Went for a walk today with my 50mm prime lens, have had the lens for a few years but really haven’t used it that much. Over the past couple of weeks my headspace has been in a better place however bit of a dip yesterday evening and today. Going out for a walk with my camera helped but also using this lens because it meant I had to think about the photos a lot more so gave my brain something to focus on.
Tuesday was our wedding anniversary and Kat was off from Sunday till Tuesday so we decided to go to Mull for the three days. A mini break away to make the most of the time Kat had off and also a celebration of two years married!
