Theme of this weekend has very much been the freezing temperatures! It has been bitterly cold especially today with it not really getting above -2 all day. Of course had to be the day that I was eating my lunch outside to give Maia a good run around. However even with the cold temperatures have enjoyed getting outside and it does make for some great pictures.
We all went for a walk up the Whangie today and what a day for it! Was absolutely stunning, freezing but stunning. Great to be out on the hills with Kat as well as Maia, we have such a laugh together.
First walk of the season in the snow and was a fair amount of snow as well. Again left Glasgow and wasn’t expecting the day to turn out like that. Was thinking it would be cold but didn’t realise the snow was lying so low.
Didn’t have a huge amount of motivation this morning but wanted to do the Whangie ( a hill outside of Glasgow ) so knew that I just had to go for it. Sometimes it is just about committing to something whether the motivation is there or not, if you want for that then you may never move.
In yesterdays blog I talked about that to have a goal you need to have a plan so I spent some time yesterday coming up with a plan for some of my goals over the next few months. Continue reading “Walking Goal”
It is hard to keep thinking of names for the blogs so I am sorry for the un-original name of this one. Photos are taken from a walk down at Loch Ard today.
Had a really good walk today with Kat and Maia down at Loch Ard again. My mother -in- law said from the photos that Kat took and shared that I looked genuinely happy which is always good to hear! Felt like I was as well so happy to hear that that showed in my smile and eyes.
So yesterday was a week on from last Friday and that being the worst that I have ever felt. My brain makes a lot of associations with everything and remembers some aspects in a lot of detail so I was expecting some moments to be harder which they were but overall it was a pretty good day and a world apart from the week before.
