Autumn Colours

Always find this time of year amazing for colours to see the greens turning to browns, oranges and reds. I would be hard to pick a favourite season as there is something good in all of them but my favourite part of this season is very much the colours.

So was great to go for a walk yesterday down at Loch Ard and get to enjoy all the colours. Was a bit of a grey day weather wise but actually that didn’t really matter , apart from the home ward stretch back to the car there wasn’t any rain. After spending so much time in the outdoors over the past few months and now that being reduced was good to use the opportunity yesterday to get outside.

Mr & Mrs Connell

Spent a wonderful day on Friday celebrating the marriage of two close friends Chris and Lauren. Was great to see both of them looking so happy and in love, very much enjoyed the day and privileged to be a part of their big day and their lives.

Back At Work

If had gone to write this blog other the past few days it would have had a very different tone to it as have been in a fairly poor headspace. Camping At Loch Ard

Last September we had a weekend camping down at Loch Ard and had a great time so thought that we would go again this year but this time go for a couple of nights. First time that have had to get a permit as that area is now included for the Loch Lomond and Trossachs camping in the park. Whether you agree with it or not it is what it is and to be fair was £6 for the both nights and we never had anyone checking up on us so wasn’t a huge difference from last year.

1st of September

Love this time of year when the leaves are just starting to change colour and though the temperatures are pretty warm there is more of a slight chill first thing in the morning. At Loch Ard it is amazing to see the reflections on a still day. I am looking forward to hopefully many a trip as Autumn progresses.

Last Day In August

I don’t always pay that much attention to the weather forecast as pretty much whatever it is doing I will be getting outdoors in some shape or another so when it all clicks together it is great. Yesterday was one of those days as had decided that I would be going for a kayak and it turned out to be the most amazing day on the water.
