I don’t always pay that much attention to the weather forecast as pretty much whatever it is doing I will be getting outdoors in some shape or another so when it all clicks together it is great. Yesterday was one of those days as had decided that I would be going for a kayak and it turned out to be the most amazing day on the water.
In the past week Kat and I have managed to get out on the water at Loch Lomond twice. Really want to try to get out kayaking at least once a week if we can, great fun and good exercise. It also helps just to get out onto the water.
Last Monday and Tuesday while down in Clachan I got the opportunity to go out for a paddle in the morning. Would have been criminal not to take advantage of the weather. Kayaking is something that I absolutely love but due to a few reasons haven’t been able to do much of it the past few years. Making a real effort to change that now so this was a good start.

I am now back in Glasgow with a lot of photos as tried to make the most of my time getting out and about. Was really an activities week from kayaking to biking to walking with a little bit of gardening and relaxing thrown in as well. The next few blogs are going to be about the week and what I got up to so this first one is a taster really.
Was just in Kintyre for the weekend; one very intense essentially life changing weekend however I feel that is probably to be talked about in a blog later on in the week. This blog is about your element, do you feel like there is a place that you just fit in, that it is good for your soul and just where you need to be? For me it is really anywhere that is to do with water but more specifically the sea and kayaking. Absolutely love kayaking but due to various reasons haven’t been able to get out on the water much in the past couple of years. Continue reading “Your Element”
