Took quite a few photos today when went for a walk at Loch Ard so thought would do an individual blog for them rather than just in the week round up. Water reflections is the main theme from today as it was completely flat calm and looked amazing, was hard to choose which photos to keep. Continue reading “Loch Ard In Winter”
Theme of this weekend has very much been the freezing temperatures! It has been bitterly cold especially today with it not really getting above -2 all day. Of course had to be the day that I was eating my lunch outside to give Maia a good run around. However even with the cold temperatures have enjoyed getting outside and it does make for some great pictures.
On the 2nd of November I sent myself the challenge to blog every single day and guess what I managed it! One can’t believe that we are at the end of November and tomorrow is the 1st of December. Would love to say where has this year gone however feel very much like I have lived every single day and while that could be a positive thing it isn’t in this case. But that is by the by now. The second thing is that I have some how managed to take pictures and find something to say for 30 days!
We all went for a walk up the Whangie today and what a day for it! Was absolutely stunning, freezing but stunning. Great to be out on the hills with Kat as well as Maia, we have such a laugh together.
Spent today in Kirkcaldy with my Mother-in-law and on the way there this morning stopped off at Devilla forest for a walk with Maia. Very very chilly but a lovely morning and enjoyed being out with my camera.
First walk of the season in the snow and was a fair amount of snow as well. Again left Glasgow and wasn’t expecting the day to turn out like that. Was thinking it would be cold but didn’t realise the snow was lying so low.
Didn’t have a huge amount of motivation this morning but wanted to do the Whangie ( a hill outside of Glasgow ) so knew that I just had to go for it. Sometimes it is just about committing to something whether the motivation is there or not, if you want for that then you may never move.
Going for a paddle isn’t an activity that I can take Maia with so at the beginning of the week I just have to decide on a day and then the dog walker comes in for her. So it can be a bit hit and miss weather, really just about going for it regardless. This morning when I left Glasgow thought it was going to be a cold, wet and grey day for a paddle. How wrong could I be!
