Since being signed off work it is very easy to get fixated on work and all the questions and decisions going round in my head to do with that. What I need to also remember that while I am not at work it opens up opportunities that I wouldn’t have got if I had been at work. One of those is getting the chance to see areas of Scotland that I haven’t been to before.
Couple of days in the past week I have gone down to Loch Ard and have gone for a swim. Brilliant that it has been warm enough to want to do that and actually need to do that. When it is really warm temperatures don’t like to take Maia anywhere that isn’t near water just so she has somewhere to cool down and plus it is fun being around water with her. That is what life is about isn’t it, having fun when you can. That seems to more important than ever at the moment.
Most of the time on my Nikon D60 I used a Tamron 18 – 200mm lens and absolutely love it however I also own a wide angle lens: Tamron 10 – 24mm.
Rather than starting at the beginning of the week I have decided to start at the end. Thursday evening was an absolutely gorgeous evening and went out for a paddle with my mother – in- law. Words and pictures don’t really describe how stunning it was to be out on flat calm water and watch the sun setting. The colours were amazing! Continue reading “Making The Most Of It”
Just back from a great day out with my wife and dog.
Got out of the flat and surrounding area today which was very much needed. Good to get out of Glasgow and feel like I have done something with my day.
